NOTICE: May 19 Performance CANCELED!
Final Play of the Year!
In the 1920s and 30s, the Radium Dial Company employed hundreds of women to paint glow in the dark numbers on clock and watch faces. The paint glowed due to the radium that was used – radium the women were told was perfectly safe, but that would cause them to lose their lives.
These Shining Lives is the story of 4 of the women who worked for Radium Dial and chose to fight back at a time when the world said they shouldn’t.
